Took a group down from Pipestem state park to Bluestone state park.
Fun time-lots of carnage!Even had a tacoed front wheel in the 1st downhill-love the rocks on Countyline trail!The rider-Bird-did a chest slide as well-and finished the ride with the wonky wheel!Nice!
Shows how nice discs can be-never would have made it on V's-very wonky wheel!
The trail along the Bluestone river was nice-a few trees down,mud holes,sand-as always!
We shuttled back.
Its around 14-15mi. ride.
And you get to wade across the river-i wish it was cleaner-but i still dig the adventure of a 100yrd shoulder portage on slicky rocks waste deep!

Hey Truewheel, Time wise. How long a ride from Pipestem SP to Bluestone SP ? Just a ballpark time. Thanks

With setting up your shuttle-goofing off-waiting for slackers-goofing off-flats-wrecks-snacks-5hrs?We really goofed around!

After the shuttle is set up the ride time is 2-2.5 i would say.

I have done faster,but it was 10yrs ago-dont remember details...

You can also,when it is going(check with park)for a fee-ride the tram up or down with your bike.
