This is not a trail report. But, I was thinking of maybe doing a little trail work there this weekend (sunday). I have a couple of ideas but no solid plans. Anyone interested in helping or any ideas of what needs to be worked on. I know a bridge was washed out the last time I was there but it would take more than just me to put it back. Might have to work with the park to get this bridge back in service.

Trails were in pretty good shape and pretty dry. A few downed trees (maybe a half dozen) but none that were that big of a deal, for most of them you could ride over them.

Finally got back down there to ride Laughing Trails were in good shape and mostly dry. Once you cross the road and go down the powerline right of way the trail that starts up hill has been taken over by water (i did a quick fix hope it helps utill I can get a shovel up there). And of course the swamp near activity building is wet.

Go here for a map of the trails.

That is how we run the race course last year
If you do a full loop it's about a 9 mile lap

No problem. That's what were here for Very Happy
I got the water off the trail today but it's going to take it a while to dry up. I also cut a fallen tree out of the way that was near the swamp. Going to do a couple laps tomorrow to see how the rest of it is.

WOW! what a pig pen! This was probably some of the worse trail conditions I have seen there for a long time. All this rain has made it a disaster. I just hope it dries up some for the race. If it doesn't rain anymore then we should be good to go. If not, well......just another wet muddy race......are we ever going to get a good DRY course Question

Rode there yesterday and it was dry but the weeds are startign to close in the trails in a few places. There are a few small branches on the trails. But nothing that causes a problem except for 1 tree on top of the highwall. It needs to be cut out. I'll try to get to it one of these days.
