The trails were dry but the rocks were slick on sunday! Got this info from one of the local riders ... Did rain today a little, may rain some tomorrow... Will get on the trail too ck it out on fri or sat and mark the race course will let you know.. Race in a week come on down and have some fun!!!!

Worked at the park sat and sun , trails were in great shape no rain. With the help of are cycle club and local riders we put in a new bridge on the race course ,got rid of a washing out creek crossing.. No rain monday yet The race course is getting smoother and faster due to locals beating down the rocks Will let you know about the trail wed!! The race course is marked!!

Talked too some locals that rode the race course fri eve everything was dry!!! Very little rain all week, most of the storms have went around us . Hope it stays that way till sunday eve...

had are race sunday wet and slick .. Road on tues eve wet and slick with all the rain didn't look like we had a race their on sunday.. only tracks were are's, some trees down... rained on and off today I'm sure it is slick but it does drain well .

If I get a chance this weekend I plan on driving down for a ride. As a newcomer, I was wondering if they had trails that would be good to learn on and how far is the park from the Lewisburg area? Thanks.

Links you are about 30-40 min from the park .. The trails are rocky, rooty technical single track .. but their is some that you could ride..Thats where I started riding as a beg.. or you could ride over at the soccer field... good beg trail.. We are having a fun ride sat at 11 or contact me and I will ride and show you around LB I should be out their anyway this weekend... Road tues eve trails are Dry... garymorefield@suddenlink.net

Still gotta get with y'all for a guided tour.
we went RR grade to Laurel Creek-back down weaver-oover to nature ridge back to lot.Then up Beaver Creek-Creek Road-Rhoododendron Run-maybe some thing else in there.
I left a lil skin and meat from my knee near dropoff for the crows.
Our only critique is a outer boundery loop sould be marked/mapped without so many names just one big beaver maybe.

And anyone riding a hardtail besides me?This is making me jealous of my buds FS rides-but only the 29ers!

your welcome, with the help of some local riders and wvmba racers getting their last min points and a lumber co. too donate the wood (helps the boss rides)we got the bridge on weaver way builded in 2 eve.. Must of just missed you guys was out their from 1 till dark sunday working just up from there on laural creek on another bridge ., this time a floatting bridge on pipes too get out of a low area of mud,Roger from Black Water bikes put some in up that way thought I would try it out.. should have it done tomorrow if the rain holds off .. glad some-one other than myself leaves traces of blood on the rocks ... It happens Trails were in great shape today...Let me know when you guys want a tour...A few ride 29ers...They are great for LB....

Didn't ride this eve but did the final touches on the new bridge on croocked rock trail , had some rain but the trails were fairly dry..

Did are tues eve-night ride ..Weather was great had a good turn-out what more could you ask for.... Trails are in great shape but their is a few trees down , at least one on most of the trails .. so watch out for them.. Will try too get them clear in a couple of weeks...
