Hey everyone! Last summer I moved from Colorado to Lewisburg, WV and now that spring has arrived I can't wait to get on my mountain bike. The only problem is I'm short on time and have no clue where to go. Has anyone here ridden out at greenbrier state forest. I hiked out there once, but don't know how mountain bike friendly they are? Also, anyone have any other rides that may be within an hour of me? Slatyfork is a little too far for a quick ride and is the only area that I am aware of near here. Thanks in advance.

Have not biked the forest only hunted it. Jr is right can come over and ride Little Beaver State. We ride tues night at 6 or I ride thurs at 6 + some groups ride on the weekend. If you let me know when you can come I will meet you their and show you the trails. We have a map at ride-n-slide or can pick one up at the park.If you like tech, single tract this is your place. Need to get with Jeff Cobb from over that way can"t give you his e-mail address, but you can put up a e-mail on the cycle club address he is on it as well as myself plus some other folks from over that way that I'm not sure of their names. so give us a shout we have 110 and growing on the e-mail list and their from all over the state cycleclub@ridenslide.net
Greenbrier State Forest is good. You should be able to fiind a quick trail loop with a big climb big descent type thing. Don't get me wrong, I likes The Beaver - it's just a different ride.
